Abrams Falls

The trail to the falls traverses pine-oak forest on the ridges and hemlock and rhododendron forest along the creek. The hike is 5 miles roundtrip and considered moderate in difficulty.

Alcoa-Maryville Greenway

For travelers who enjoy biking or have pets, the Alcoa-Maryville Greenway is the best place for you to enjoy our area. The well-maintained Greenway includes over 15 miles of paved trails winding through the cities of Alcoa and Maryville.

Foothills Parkway

The Foothills Parkway (as of December 2018) consists of 33 miles connecting US 129 and US 321 in Tennessee. This scenic drive through US Forest Service lands offers a number of fabulous views of east Tennessee all the way to the Cumberland Mountains some 50 miles to the west and the Great Smoky Mountains just a stone’s throw to the east.
